2026 Ireland Trip Raffle rules and Grand Prize Disclaimer and Selection Deadline
The grand prize consists of one (1) trip for two (2) persons to Ireland on the upcoming May 2027 trip, with transportation included as specified by the applicable travel provider. The prize is valid for double occupancy only and must be used by the winner and one (1) accompanying guest traveling together on the same itinerary. The prize is subject to availability and all travel-provider terms, conditions, restrictions, and requirements.
The winner must elect either the Ireland trip or cash prize and notify the current President of the John Boyle O’Reilly Club in writing of that election no later than 6:00 p.m. ET on January 10, 2027. If the winner does not provide timely written notice, the winner will be deemed to have elected the cash option in lieu of the Ireland trip. The cash option will be in the amount of $3000 and will be paid subject to applicable tax reporting and withholding requirements.
The Ireland trip prize is nontransferable, may not be assigned, redeemed for cash, exchanged, or substituted, except as expressly provided above or as required by law. No refund, credit, or cash payment will be made for any unused portion of the prize, including if the winner or guest cannot travel, cancels, fails to obtain required travel documentation, or elects not to share double-occupancy accommodations.
The winner and accompanying guest are solely responsible for all expenses not expressly included in the prize, including meals, taxes, fees, gratuities, travel insurance, baggage charges, passport and visa costs, transportation not included in the travel itinerary, and incidental expenses. The winner and guest must comply with all applicable travel-provider requirements and must possess valid travel documents. The John Boyle O’Reilly Club is not responsible for any cancellation, delay, itinerary change, loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from or relating to the trip or its use.
