On behalf of incoming 2023 club President Patty Devine, the John Boyle O’Reilly club is proud to announce that Susan Gloster Forys has been named the Irish person of the year for 2023!!
Sue is the club secretary and has served in that roll since 2018. She is past chair of the entertainment committee and currently serves on the membership, entertainment and breakfast committees.
Sue is the wife of Mike Forys and they have two sons, Brendan and Sean, daughter in law Nikki and two grandchildren, Connor and Nora.
Sue was raised on Mooreland street on Hungry Hill and currently lives in Chicopee. Sue loves to travel to Ireland and is especially fond of Dingle.
